Job Description

Salary: 80,000 - 120,000 USD per year Requirements:

  • We prefer an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with a focus in healthcare, business, or information systems. You should be able to present complex data in a meaningful way, such as through charts and graphs.

  • We require at least 5 years of experience within healthcare, business, or information systems.
  • You should be able to work with minimal instruction on day-to-day tasks and require general direction for more complex projects.
  • The ability to develop new functionality for requests with little to no direction and lead multidisciplinary teams throughout projects is necessary.
  • Serving as a mentor or knowledge resource to peers across the community will be part of your role.
  • You should possess detailed healthcare knowledge and systems expertise.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Associated certifications in your area of focus are preferred.
  • For Epic Analysts: You should be certified or proficient in the assigned Epic module, which must be obtained within 6 months of your employment date. Additionally, you must maintain current certifications by completing new version training.
Responsibilities:
  • I expect you to analyze, develop, test, document, educate, implement, support, and maintain or optimize assigned applications, solutions, and business processes to meet operational and technical requirements.
  • You will independently provide guidance and leadership on quality assurance and testing initiatives, demonstrating your ability to lead the team through complex integrated testing processes and manage testing projects as necessary.

  • You will apply your advanced understanding of assigned clinical/business operations, processes, and workflows. It is your responsibility to maintain collaborative customer relationships, ensuring their needs are represented in all updates and providing clear status reporting on projects.
  • Your role includes leading and evaluating process and requirements analysis, including gap analysis and cross-application recommendations.
  • I expect you to develop strong, positive relationships with client management at all levels and be respected as an expert by end users.
  • You should contribute to strategy discussions by proactively identifying options with associated pros and cons, consistently displaying superior judgment.
  • Adherence to organization standards for system configuration and change control is critical.

  • You will collaborate with operational leaders to standardize best practice workflows and ensure alignment across ministries for optimal processes and efficiencies.
  • Your role includes coordinating code changes with relevant vendors relating to financial and business application issues and collaborating with the technical team to address infrastructure-related application issues.
  • Sharing industry best practices from vendors with operational leaders will be part of your responsibilities, as will demonstrating increasing technical knowledge of the assigned application and its infrastructure relations.
  • Serving as a liaison between business operations, internal IT, system users, and vendors within defined project objectives for issue resolution is required.
  • You must follow strict change management processes to ensure proper approval and validation of system changes.
  • Feedback on documentation written by others, as well as articulating issues and complex concepts based on audience needs, is essential.

  • Completing assigned courses within Healthstream and attending presentations in person as required will also be expected.
  • Ensure that the services you provide contribute to our department's primary mission.
  • You will lead and coordinate across applications for high-impact vendor changes and may be required to travel or work additional hours during critical issues.
  • Assisting in the preparation and conducting of training sessions for users and co-workers is important, as is spotting and seizing opportunities by proactively planning projects and tasks.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
