What We Are Looking For We are seeking a motivated and talented Environmental/Remediation Engineer to join our team in Issaquah or Seattle, Washington. Responsibilities Support Farallon’s technical teams on projects related to contaminated site investigation and remediation, environmental due diligence, litigation support, and regulatory coordination. Work in a fast-paced environment emphasizing quality and client service. Qualifications ABET-accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental engineering. Professional licensure in Washington (P.E.). Minimum of 6 years’ experience in environmental consulting, including site investigations, remediation system design and operation (e.g., air-sparge, soil vapor extraction, multi-phase extraction, in-situ remediation, mass excavation, engineering controls). Experience managing multidisciplinary teams for complex cleanup projects. Knowledge of environmental regulations such as MTCA, RCRA, CERCLA. Permitting experience, including NPDES and KCIW discharge permits. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal and report writing. CADD and engineering design experience. Ability to collaborate on business development. Availability to travel up to 20%. Commitment to safety and health regulations. Preferred Skills Regulatory communication experience. Familiarity with GIS, data management, and laboratory procedures. Experience with voluntary cleanup programs and specialized engineering knowledge (e.g., PFAS, emissions, sediment cleanup). Salary Estimated range: $80,000 – $130,000, based on experience and education. Salary is part of a comprehensive total compensation package, reviewed annually.
