ABOUT THE POSITION
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in teaching and research. The selected candidate will contribute to the vibrant research community at IESEG through their research. He/she/they is therefore expected to hold a PhD in Information systems or a related field, have a publication record in highly ranked peer-reviewed journals, and conduct and publish high-quality research. Publications and proven research interest in sustainability aspects related to information systems is an asset.
In terms of teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. The candidate shall be able to teach in at least one of the following areas: Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Programming, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation.
In addition, he/she/they will contribute to the development of the Department’s programs and assume academic responsibilities. As such, we are looking for candidates who are fluent in English , as most courses are taught in this language. Professional experience and knowledge of French are a plus, but not a requirement.
The candidate will be expected to actively participate in the life of the department, including mentoring junior colleagues, advising and mentoring students at all levels, and participating in departmental and university service activities (such as the coordination of minor programs, etc.).
There is no tenure track.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Information Systems consists of more than 20 permanent academic staff who teach and perform research in the areas of Information Systems, Law, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, among others.
