Event Coordinator For the Stovall House and SH19

The Stovall House seeks a highly organized and driven individual to assist with all aspects of planning and executing events under the direction of the Programming Manager. This Event Coordinator will be expected to curate and execute a diverse range of private events, pickleball and padel tournaments, and programming initiatives.

Our ideal candidate is experienced in coordinating events related to racquet sports, including tennis, pickleball, padel, and others. They are knowledgeable about the rules and game flow of pickleball and/or padel. This person has a keen interest in pursuing a future in events and hospitality, bringing a creative and self-motivated approach to their work. Additionally, they have a strong interest in fitness and wellness activities, aligning with our commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help plan logistics and coordinate tournaments, leagues, clinics, and social events to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.
• Manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and utilize Tripleseat for event planning and coordination.
• Oversee event preparation, setup, and breakdown of all events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Supervise vendor arrivals and setup according to the event plan, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
• Collaborate closely with the General Manager, Racquet Pros, and other department heads to ensure seamless execution of private events and programming.
• Build strong relationships with club members, organize social events, and promote member participation.
• Report to the Programming Manager and ensure all plans align with the overall vision and direction for Stovall programming.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

During a 90-day introductory period, this individual will work on the main property of the Stovall House and directly support the Programming Manager.
