The primary responsibility of this role is to act as a consultant and trainer to provide operational, marketing, and financial support to our franchise partners. This will be primarily accomplished by providing coaching based on the Company’s outlined procedures and policies and identifying areas of opportunity within assigned region. Specifically, the Franchise Business Consultant will:

  • Act as a first point of contact for all Mosquito Authority and Pest Authority franchisee related activity for the territory covered, while delivering effective and streamlined communication with each franchisee and headquarters.
  • Build relationships and trust influence their commitment to develop and execute their adopted annual marketing plan and support ongoing results aligned with those plans.
  • Coach, appropriately challenge and encourage individual franchisees in the areas on existing and new operational processes including digital advertising, grass root marketing, best hiring practices and front office management.
  • Provide best practices on KPI’s, financial planning, hiring, and retaining employees, marketing and sales, workflow and operations, and breakeven and forecast analysis to achieve maximum profitability.
  • Visit operator locations on a scheduled basis working toward specific franchisee goals.
  • Execute against the Mosquito Authority and Pest Authority US market plan in the territory covered including processes to develop strategies and tactics that enable and accelerate the US growth for both brands. Includes benchmarking and competitive analysis of all franchisees for the territory covered.
  • Focus on franchisee revenue and profitability growth, and conduct business reviews to measure against annual budgets.
  • Support Mosquito Authority and Pest Authority regular reviews for brand compliance as needed for renewals, etc. in the territory covered.
  • Support new franchisee recruitment efforts for Mosquito Authority franchisees interested in becoming a dual brand owner (Pest Authority) by identifying potential candidates.
  • As needed, support existing franchisee efforts to sell their territory with corporate processes and outside resources.
  • Support the Main Line Brands, LLC management team as needed in planning, business review, and special projects.
This position requires medium to heavy travel (50% to 75%) depending on the current needs and assigned projects for the territory covered. Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: BA/BS or equivalent with experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of franchise coaching experience.
  • Preferred experience in the pest control or related home services industries.
  • The successful candidate must demonstrate a track record as a self- starter / self-motivator and able to self-manage to achieve success.
  • Must be a logical thinker and have the desire to have a positive impact on the franchisees within the territory covered. The ability to be an excellent business coach, problem solver and franchisee advocate is a must.
  • Proven track record of influencing others via reasonable negotiation and excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task & generate actionable recommendations. Demonstrated track record of strong project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal & team skills with the ability to present to other team members and senior leadership.
  • Clear and effective communication skills across all mediums (face to face, by phone, in writing) with all parties at various levels, whether internal or external to the organization. Ability to partner well with cross functional departments and work with all levels of management, including senior management.
  • Must have proven diplomacy, confidentiality, and inter-personal skills and the capacity to work under pressure are necessary elements of the position due to the nature of working with franchisees and peers daily.
  • Ability to efficiently manage workload well with shifting priorities. Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-driven environment by generating actionable recommendations.
  • Strong system/technical skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
