BSI has office locations across the United States including Colorado, Florida, and Washington D.C. We are looking for a skilled Jr. Proposal Writer to join our team in Jacksonville, FL.

Position Overview

As a Jr. Proposal Writer , you will play a critical role in our business development efforts, working closely with the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and technical teams to craft compelling, winning proposals. You will assist in interpreting solicitations, developing persuasive content, and ensuring that all proposal submissions align with BSI’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CDO and business development team in drafting, editing, and finalizing proposal documents.
• Review RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitations to identify requirements, deadlines, and evaluation criteria.
• Write clear, concise, and persuasive proposal sections that highlight BSI's value propositions and technical capabilities.
• Conduct research and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather accurate information for proposal responses.
• Work with graphic designers to develop visually appealing proposal layouts and supporting materials.
• Help build and maintain a library of reusable proposal templates, past performance write-ups, and company qualifications.
• Organize workload effectively to meet multiple, often tight, proposal deadlines.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and ensure proposals adhere to company style guides, compliance requirements, and solicitation guidelines.
• Contribute to process improvements and lessons learned to enhance future proposal development efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional writing experience.
• Exposure to proposal writing.
• English Literature Graduate / Masters preferred.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• In-office position in Jacksonville, FL
