What You'll Do
A typical day at MySpot is dynamic and fulfilling, requiring empathy, analytical skills, and a commitment to improving children's lives. Your responsibilities will include:
Assist in the evaluation of patients' functional abilities and limitations to help develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic activities and exercises designed to improve patients' fine motor skills, strength, coordination, and independence in daily activities.
Monitor and document patients' progress and responses to treatment, adjusting interventions as directed by the occupational therapist.
Instruct patients and their families in therapeutic techniques and activities they can perform at home to enhance rehabilitation progress.
What You'll Need
Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in the state of Texas.
