Responsibilities: Implement version upgrades, changes, and patches silently for Oracle Grid Infrastructure 12c, 19c, & 21c, RAC Database 12c, 19c, & 21c (including Advanced Security), Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c, 19c, & 21c, Oracle Database Vault, TIBCO Spotfire, and related components. Apply and implement quarterly Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPU) and urgent hotfixes, tuning and optimizing Oracle applications and reports post-CPU application. Manage and upgrade 2-factor authentication (2FA), including passing PIV Card certificates across applications while maintaining Web Portal integrity. Configure DMZ, proxy server, SSL, and firewall; script jobs using WLST, shell, Python, Perl, PHP. Perform unstructured data analysis and develop strategies for integrating social media and big data systems. Develop Oracle capacity plans, expand and configure SAN devices, create and optimize Oracle ASM disks. Migrate Oracle data and applications to new hardware, maintaining all functions and configurations. Reinstall and migrate existing Oracle environments on new hardware and OS versions for lifecycle maintenance. Write automation scripts in Shell, Python, Perl; serve as an Oracle expert for monitoring and security, including management reports. Conduct knowledge transfer for operational management. Possess Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification; active Oracle Certified Master preferred. Provide detailed, step-by-step documentation for all tasks, including screenshots. Maintain Tier 4 Public Trust, High Risk security clearance. Requirements: Mid-Senior level experience in Oracle environments. Full-time employment availability.
