About Third Coast Midstream

Third Coast Infrastructure, LLC is an offshore focused midstream company headquartered in Houston, Texas. Our operations are primarily located along the Gulf Coast and deep water producing regions in the Gulf of Mexico. Third Coast provides efficient, safe, and reliable midstream services to our customers. Our assets include natural gas gathering and transmission pipelines, NGL and crude oil pipelines, gas processing plants, and a deep water floating production system. Our infrastructure services some of the largest producing Gulf of Mexico Deepwater fields. By creating an integrated super system we can deliver reliability and flow assurance to our customers.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Project Controls to oversee the planning, scheduling, cost management, and performance monitoring of oil and gas projects. This role requires expertise in managing and defining KPIs, creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards, and providing detailed financial and progress reports to the accounting and management teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle NetSuite (NetSuite Planning and Budgeting is a plus), Primavera P6, Excel, and other relevant data, cost, and scheduling tools.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage project controls processes, including cost control, scheduling, and risk management for oil and gas projects
  • Establish, monitor, and report on project performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure alignment with project objectives
  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide visual insights into project progress, cost performance, and resource utilization
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend corrective actions as needed
  • Generate accurate and timely project status reports for accounting and management teams, detailing cost, schedule, and performance variances
  • Maintain and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 and ensure alignment with project deliverables and milestones
  • Leverage Oracle NetSuite to track financial transactions, budgets, and forecasting for project expenditures
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions and data management tools to analyze project data and prepare custom reports
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
  • Conduct regular project audits and reviews to ensure compliance with contractual and financial requirements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending enhancements
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills
  • Communicate with Management on goals and objectives
  • Ensure ongoing improvement through evaluation of current processes
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance
  • Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public

Working Conditions

  • Works in office environment but may require occasional field visits
  • Must be physically capable of completing and satisfying all training requirements as stipulated by local, state or federal agencies and/or Company Policy
  • Day and overnight travel with advance notice in support of projects

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in project controls, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 , Oracle NetSuite , Power BI , and advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, data analysis)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to drive project decisions
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing KPIs for large-scale projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Solid understanding of cost control principles, budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling methodologies
  • Certification in project management or scheduling (e.g., PMP, PSP) is a plus
