Prescott Industries has an opening for a Project Coordinator to join our team of talented people at our growing manufacturing business.

The Project Coordinator needs to be self-motivated and goal oriented behind the scenes- orchestrating the flow of information, tracking deliverables, and resolving issues. Their attention to detail and their relationships with colleagues—customers, team members, architects, technical department, vendors, workers—is what keeps our projects moving forward and on time and produced with the highest quality.

Your Responsibilities

• Respond to customer quote inquiries, write purchase orders, review templates, follow up with customer through delivered product, resolve warranty issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation of project development and revisions including project schedules/timelines and forecasting.
• Engage with technical department to ensure the technical accuracy of specific design details. Identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Communicate customer priorities to CAD programmer, Production Manager, and Operations support, as necessary.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual project analysis and tracking.
• Provide effective direction and guidance (written and verbal) to the team assigned to meet project expectations.
• Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer.
• Help grow existing accounts by fostering professional working relationships while supporting sales team as a technical resource during soliciting of new business.
• Report customer feedback with regard to our company's performance.
• Meet project goals and objectives as defined by leadership.

Your Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Educational or work experience/knowledge with technical projects preferred.
• 1-3 years of project management preferred.

• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Advanced mathematical skills. Calculating percentages, sales prices, and discounts quickly and accurately.

• Proactive and resourceful with ability to multi-task.

Our Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, typing, and working on a computer.
• Must be able to move and lift 15 pounds unassisted.
• Visual acuity to inspect products.

Prescott Industries is a small business in Aubrey, TX. We are professional, agile and a leader in the wood door and frame industry. We manufacture architectural wood and laminate doors, artisan hardwood doors for residential application, as well as wood door frames and components. These are used for a variety of industries including offices, hotels/resorts, educational facilities, healthcare/hospitals, institutional/ buildings, and residential homes.
