Company seeking Project Engineer with Water Pipelines and Underground Wet Utilities experience

Company Overview:  Company specializing in the installation of water pipelines and underground wet utilities as well as other heavy civil projects. Located in Sacramento, CA with projects in East Bay and South Bay area.

Project Engineer is responsible for managing the construction of new and existing water pipelines and underground wet utilities projects. This position requires experience with wet utility construction, heavy civil and underground construction as well as the ability to plan, coordinate, schedule and direct all phases of the project from conception to completion.

• Position Overview:
  • Manage construction of water pipelines and wet utilities projects
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of all personnel involved in construction projects
  • Plan and review project progress with team members
  • Maintain all records related to wet utilities projects
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review plans, designs, and specifications for wet utilities projects
  • Assist in the preparation of budget estimates and schedules for projects
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of personnel involved in the construction of wet utilities projects
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations
  • Inspect and direct all phases of the project from conception to completion
• Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience with water pipelines, wet utilities, underground utilities, heavy civil, and/or utility construction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
