About the role: Our team is looking for a Project Quality Engineer to plan and implement Quality Management Systems within Offshore Projects. This position would be a full-time, direct hire position in the Energy Corridor of Houston, TX.

About you:

• Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of 8 years' experience as a Quality Engineer in the Offshore Industry.
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certified.
• Previous experience in auditing quality management systems based on ISO 9001:2015.
• Working knowledge of NDE and NACE processes.
• Experience in development of ITP, Project Quality Plans and Quality Control Inspection Plans.
• Working knowledge of QC Inspection equipment Calibration practices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Quality Management regarding quality contractual issues during bid and project execution phases.
• Support implementation of Project's Quality Management System activities.
• Participate during internal audits and support Audit team leaders.
• Participate during external audits to Vendors and Subcontractors.
• Participate during 3rd party audits.
• Support Quality Management during meetings, ensuring coordination between Quality and Project activities.
• Ensure preparation and issue Quality Control specifications, Quality Control Plans, Inspection and Test plans and coordinating checks as required.
• Issue Quality requirements and support management of nonconformities.

Work may involve both office and field-based tasks, including on-site troubleshooting, inspections and overseeing installations.

All candidates must be local to Houston, TX and have valid US Work Authorization.
