The Congdon School of Health Sciences at High Point University invites applications for a full-time Administrator. The Congdon School of Health Sciences Administrator is responsible for directly supporting the Dean and the school. Duties include supporting school and department administration, coordinating school activities and events, serving as a liaison to the school’s departments, and collaborating with university departments such as admissions, human resources, accounting, and communications. The role also involves managing and coordinating the school webpages, faculty recruiting, budgeting, and strategic planning. Candidates should be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask, demonstrate sound judgment, professional etiquette, and have excellent communication skills. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, proficiency with Microsoft 365, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, time management, organization, ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality, and basic invoicing and budget management knowledge. Preferred qualifications include experience with Endnote and Qualtrics, 5+ years of administrative experience, familiarity with High Point University, and ability to research and analyze data. Responsibilities include supporting school operations, monitoring budgeting and expenditures, faculty recruitment and onboarding, event planning and coordination, managing the school website and printed materials, supervising student workers, maintaining records, assisting with strategic planning and accreditation activities, and other duties as assigned by the Dean.
