AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Psychologist in Boston, MA that is available for the 2024/2025 school year.

Salary:

• $80-$85/Hour (1099).
• $3,200 - $3,400/week.

Requirements:

• Graduate Degree (M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in psychology, social work, or counseling.
• Must be certified in School Psychology OR hold a School Psychologist license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations in a school setting preferred. 
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred. 
• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

Job Description:

• Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location.
• Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suit your experience and skillset.
• Contract through the 2024/2025 school year – 32 to 40 hours per week.
• The contract follows the academic district calendar.

Essential Functions:

• Provide evaluation, consultative, and counseling services in the school setting for initial psychological assessment and for reevaluation of children in special education programs.
• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and lead the multidisciplinary team in the process of identifying students of intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities and emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Communicate psychological assessment results and recommendations both verbally and through written reports.
• Participate in eligibility and program decisions in meeting the needs of students with disabilities.
• Participate in and contribute to professional development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
