About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Government Engagement in the Latin America and Caribbean region. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's efforts to promote inclusive growth and financial inclusion, with a specific focus on building strong, trusted relationships with key government agencies. This role is pivotal in driving the transition to a cashless ecosystem through digitalization, and the candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the regional government strategy. This includes understanding and aligning with the priorities of both the governments and the company, engaging in demand analysis, and ensuring that the company's solutions meet the evolving needs of government clients in areas such as financial inclusion, citizen services, and economic development. Applicants for this role should have a proven track record of working closely with government agencies, managing transformative change initiatives, and successfully closing large and complex government deals. The role requires a consultative selling approach, deep expertise in products, services, and solutions, and the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a strong ability to work across divisional boundaries, and possess exceptional relationship management and communication skills. A background in strategic government engagement, a passion for learning and exploring new capabilities, and a commitment to driving societal-economic impact are essential. A degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for a graduate degree, and fluency in English and Spanish is a must.
