Job Description
You will be reporting to our EHS Director, based in Paris, and doted line to our VP Asset Management & Operation Business Unit (AM&O) based in the US. The role EHS Manager - Americas will be based primarily at Akuo’s Texas office or designated sites in Texas and will supervise EHS representatives in LATAM. To effectively fulfill the responsibilities of this role, regular travel will be required to both construction and operational sites across the region.
EHS Manager Americas Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the followings:
Qualifications
Fluent in Spanish,
Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, ideally with Electrical Engineering background,
Prior experience of 4 to 6 years as Safety Manager and/or Safety Director in the construction or operations. Energy generation experience is mandatory,
Must possess a general understanding of the electric generation and/or transmission systems and plant operations,
Prior experience in maintaining and inspecting turbine components, blades, substation equipment, communication system is a plus,
Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies,
Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment,
Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain same.
