Location: Aston, PA and Travel throughout the USA.

Education Required: High School Diploma or GED- Technical/Mechanical Vocational Schooling
Experience: Mechanics – Machining
Position Description: As a support Technician, you will be a critical part of the Devitt Machinery Co. Customer Support Team. We are looking for an individual who excels in the field of mechanical machine tool maintenance and is knowledgeable in different types of machines. We use Bridgeport's and Lathes along with many other machines/ tools. The ideal candidate will have well rounded technical capabilities, good at math and measurements
Duties, Responsibilities and Desired Skills:
Provide assistance of application to Mechanical Technician in house and out in the field.
Learn machine scraping, how to check alignments use indicators, micrometers, laser trackers and miscellaneous measuring equipment.
Good communication, organizational & time management skills, is able to work independently as well as with the team.
Approximately 20% Travel to Customer facilities.
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable and handle multitasking.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Valid Driver’s License, ability to pass a DOT physical
We will provide Osha Training, Forklift Training, Hazmat Training
A drug test and background check are required
