Job Details for Warehouse Associate

• Schedule: M-F 9:30am-6pm
• Pay Rate: $17/hr
• Contract to Hire
• Location: Carlstadt

Warehouse Associate Job Description:

• Perform final quality check to verify that the orders / transfers / vendor claims provided to packing area are 100% accurate per the order requirements.
• Input data-entry to accurately document the items and quantities included in each packing transaction.
• Prepare and package all outbound orders carefully to ensure that the merchandise is sufficiently protected from in-transit loss or damage.
• Apply packaging labels / attach packing lists and stage completed orders for shipment manifest
• Operate forklift and pallet jack as needed

Job Requirements for Warehouse Associate:

• Minimum educational requirement: High school graduate, or equivalency, with the ability to read and write in English and perform basic math calculations
• Minimum experience requirement: Five, or more, years in a similar position / parallel working environment utilizing a handheld barcode scanner and desktop PC applications
• Ability to safely operate a pallet jack, tape machine, and other ordinary tools essential to perform the job
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and bend / reach overhead
