Job Description

Central Coast Home Health & Hospice is a fast-growing, locally owned and operated organization with an excellent reputation throughout the Central Coast. We are now seeking a full -time Medical Social Worker to work with both Home Health and Adult Hospice patients in the Northern San Luis Obispo area (Atascadero, Templeton, Paso Robles). This individual will be working in our Hospice and Home Health Program with a lot of autonomy and flexibility while also receiving meaningful direction and supervision from an LCSW. Clinical Supervision is available.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Human Development or master's degree from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
  • Minimum of one-year social work experience in a healthcare setting, home health &/or hospice experience preferred.
  • Understand the "hospice philosophy" and issues of death and dying
  • Reliable vehicle to drive for work
  • Current Driver's license
  • Clean background & driving record
  • Maintain auto insurance coverage
  • CPR certified
